Island Zone Security was founded in 2023 in a house in Victoria, BC, by two individuals who had worked as security officers and gained extensive experience in security operations over the years. This hands-on experience opened our eyes to the challenges within the industry and inspired us to start our own company in Victoria, BC. What started as a vision turned into a reality, security company built on trust, expertise, and a strong commitment to keeping businesses safe.

Our journey in Canada began as international students, landing here with aspirations for a better future. While studying, we started working part-time as security officers after completing our training at the Justice Institute of British Columbia. Canada provided us with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in security operations, obtain essential certifications such as first-aid, and develop a deep understanding of the industry. After years of working in security, we were inspired to start our own company with the goal of providing peace of mind to our community and local business owners. Our vision was not just about offering security services but also to invest in our employees, training them to become the best versions of themselves and delivering top-tier security solutions. However, we started by working ourselves, building trust with our clients through dedication and reliability. As we grew, we expanded our team, hiring and training skilled security professionals who share our commitment to excellence.
